Hope you all had a happy Bhogi, will have a happier Sankaranthi, and especially this year, an even happier Kanuma.  Here is our Post from 2 years ago on the festival, and the significance of each day. With all the hullabaloo about Jallikattu, times like this show just how well-treated and well-respected the bovine species, bull or cow, is in our culture.

What’s more, we have an announcement we’ll be making shortly that really puts the Pongal in this year’s Makara Sankaranthi.
